Provider Safety & Conduct Policy

Effective Date: [Feb 10, 2026]

Last Updated: [Feb 10, 2026]

This policy explains the safety and conduct rules for providers (and their workers) using Booka Crew. These rules exist to protect customers, providers, workers, and the public, and to keep the platform safe. If you use Booka Crew as a provider, you agree to follow this policy.

1. Provider Responsibility

1.1 Providers are responsible for their own conduct and the conduct of anyone they bring to a job, including employees, subcontractors, assistants, or crew members.

1.2 Providers are responsible for performing services safely, legally, and professionally. Providers are also responsible for following all applicable laws, licensing rules, and safety requirements.

2. Safety Requirements

2.1 Providers must use safe work practices and must not create unsafe conditions for customers, workers, or property.

2.2 Providers must use the proper tools and equipment for the job and must not perform work they are not capable of doing safely.

2.3 Providers must follow reasonable customer safety rules at the job site, including access rules, pets, and basic hazard warnings, as long as those rules do not require unsafe or illegal work.

2.4 Providers must not perform services while impaired by drugs, alcohol, or any substance that affects safety or judgment.

3. Professional Conduct

3.1 Providers must treat customers respectfully and must not engage in harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, or abusive behavior.

3.2 Providers must not engage in sexual harassment or unwanted contact.

3.3 Providers must not enter areas of a customer's property that are unrelated to the booked service, except as reasonably necessary to perform the service.

3.4 Providers must not retaliate against a customer for leaving a complaint, review, dispute, or report.

4. Illegal or High-Risk Services

4.1 Providers may not offer or perform illegal services through Booka Crew.

4.2 Providers may not perform work that requires specialized licensing or permits unless the provider has all required credentials and approvals for that service.

4.3 Providers may not use Booka Crew for dangerous, reckless, or clearly unsafe work. Booka Crew may restrict certain service categories or job types to protect safety.

5. Fraud, Theft, and Dishonesty

5.1 Providers must not steal, attempt to steal, or damage property intentionally.

5.2 Providers must not misrepresent identity, business details, qualifications, pricing, or the work performed.

5.3 Providers must not manipulate the platform, ratings, reviews, or disputes.

5.4 Providers must not attempt to move customers off-platform for payment or communication in order to avoid platform rules or fees.

6. Incidents, Damage, and Reporting

6.1 Providers must report serious incidents to Booka Crew promptly, including injuries, major property damage, threats, violence, or alleged criminal activity.

6.2 Providers must provide accurate information during incident reviews and must cooperate with reasonable requests for evidence.

6.3 Providers should document job conditions and completion using the platform's photo and messaging tools to reduce disputes.

7. Enforcement

7.1 Booka Crew may investigate reports, complaints, and incidents. Providers may be required to submit evidence, explanations, or documentation.

7.2 Booka Crew may take enforcement action, including warnings, suspension, payout holds where permitted, or permanent removal, depending on severity, risk, or repeated issues.

7.3 Booka Crew may immediately remove providers for serious safety risks, violence, threats, theft, fraud, or other conduct that puts users or the public at risk.

8. How to Report Safety Issues

8.1 Customers and providers should report safety issues through the platform whenever possible.

8.2 In emergencies, users should contact local emergency services first. Booka Crew is not an emergency response provider.
